REMEMBERANCE

REMEMBERANCE

Still, remember me
When you are far away
The night’s cold wind howls
Lonely, may the fireplace be
Still, remember me
When you are asleep
In the arms of someone new
When the full moon rises
Over desert red rock
Remember me as the ocean
Froth’s over a rocky rugged beach
As a fishing boat is lulled
To its’ seafloor bed
Remember me disguised as love’s eyes
As a wandering fool
Not quite lost
A chasm in a glacier
The setting sun masked
By thunderheads
Remember me
